Juno music
Hi, just recently purchased my 350z 2006 I'm a little confused on the engine BHP, also without touching the engine does anyone recommend a remap? Someone told me I had the fairylady bit when I did an original vehicle check it came up as a GT
Lexx
Welcome. Moved to the correct area of the forum. As yours in a 2006 you may have the original 276bhp DE engine. Or the 296bhp Rev Up DE. The GT part is just a trim level and means you got leather seats and cruise control. "Fairlady" is just want the 350z is called in Japan. Jay84
Welcome. The quickest way to check the above is the Rev counter. DEs rev to 6.5, revups to 7. There is a remap called an uprev (which confused me with revup at first) which a few traders on here do.
GMballistic
Welcome aboard. Tbh without doing anything to the car I'd say to leave the remap (UpRev) for now, ...maybe you'll want to add an exhaust or plenum spacer or other upgrade at some point in which case doing the remap after that will be much more beneficial.
