Jack94
Hi guys Hoping someone on here can help me identify the cause of a slight issue I'm having.. Basically every now and again the car's traction control cuts in when cornering around 60mph. It happens even when I'm taking it really easy, my first thought was maybe the front tyres are no good because they're fairly low and quite old but it only happens on a right hand bend so now I'm thinking maybe it's a faulty wheel speed sensor? Any help would be greatly appreciated Thanks.
StevoD
Tyre sizes will be issue I imagine
Jack94
6 hours ago, StevoD said: Tyre sizes will be issue I imagine Thanks, the tyres are 245/35/19 on the front and 275/35/19 on the rear with LMGT4 wheels? The fronts are Falkens and the rears are eagle F1's which I know isn't ideal, I plan on swapping the fronts to eagle F1's too when they need doing. Mambofever
I had this when I first bought my 350. The tread on the front tyres was just legal and the rears were brand new. Difference in diameter confused the traction control. I put new fronts on and it was sorted.
Jack94
Wow, can't believe the traction control is that sensitive My rears are pretty much new too so probably worth ordering a couple of fronts and hopefully it'll be that simple! I'll report back once I've got them fitted. Thanks for the help.
Jack94
Had the fronts on for a few hundred miles now and haven't had the traction control kick in once since For anyone else that has this problem in the future, tyres are definitely worth checking first! 2
