Zedhead21
Thinking of installing a plenum spacer on my 2004 z it's been uprev remapped already and am wondering wether I will need it remapped again after the install , any advice on which spacer to use would be helpful , I would also like to retain the standard strut brace as I've heard if the spacer is too large you can't fit the stock strut bar on any more , thanks all
Ekona
It won't need remapping, but you'd crazy to fit a plenum spacer and not get it remapped.
Zedhead21
I know I was wondering if I'd get the full effect of the plenum spacer considering it's already been uprev mapped or whether I'd need it done again to account for the extra airflow Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Ekona
Nah, it wouldn't make any extra difference at all really, or none that you'd actually notice to the extent of making the cost worth it.

coldel
With the licence already on the car, you just need to pay for dyno time to play with the map so nowhere near the £400 or whatever you pay for an uprev nowadays. Oh and my motordyne spacer fitted fine under the stock strut bar.
Bakkums
Just fitted a spacer 5/16 and needed some spacers under the brace as well. Further I can only recommend to do a map afterwards, otherwise the gains aren't as much as hoped for and less reliable.
