Joseph350
Hi their I'm new to the 350z world.. I've owned my 350 convertible a month now it's a jap inport.. when I first got the car it was running abit flat.. So I replaced the battery It seemed to be running sweet for about 10 min then it started to miss fire So I replaced the spark plugs and the coils it then started to miss fire even more even on start up.. Obd scanner read p1051 which is air fuel sensor bank 2 sensor 1.. I couldn't imagine that to sensor to cause such a miss fire Any help would be great thanks
57jam89
Well if you have fault code then that's what the problem is.
Jake.Lowther
It will be the sensor if it's saying that's the issue, the sensor even stats what it does in the name. Air/fuel sensor meaning it has some contribution to measuring how the air and fuel is mixed. If it's faulty it could be causing the ECU to inject to much fuel thus causing your car to run rich and Miss fire.

Beefy
Coilpacks I imagine. I had the same issue, kept on running on 5 cylinders... Especially in the heat. Buy some splitfire coilpacks from Japan. Solved my issues.
