Blacktop Burner
Hi I'm a newish member, having taken delivery of my 350Z just two weeks ago, and am looking to fit parking sensors. I've looked at all the options available and to avoid drilling holes in the rear bumper am thinking about one of the two options for the kits which are part of the number plate. Both seem easy to fit but do they work as well as the four set into the bumper. Anyone got them on their Z???

Chris`I
This one gets a good review on Auto Express: http://abacuscaralarms.co.uk/store/view ... arga%20SR2 No idea how it works in the real world though.

bronzee
Welcome Blacktop. What year is your 350? Don't know about your sensor question, but i recently had a reverse camera fitted into my number plate, and I have to say, I don't really recommend them!!! Not that I'm considering getting a reverse camera, but why don't you like yours? Oh, back on topic.
mbs
Hello & Have got the bumper parking sensors and recommend them but IMO wouldn't have thought that ones fitted in the number plate would have the same wide field of view.

Not that I'm considering getting a reverse camera, but why don't you like yours? It might simply be down to getting used to it, but right now the main reason is due to the fact there is no depth perception. I can reverse using it until another car's bumper fills my screen, and I'm still 3 or 4 feet away! I haven't been brave enough to test it to it's extreme, I may have to experiment by standing one of the kids in the road and reverse up to them

Might be useful in a driveway situation with kiddies around though.
