Zedrush
Just liked to know who uses their Z for everyday use and who just use it for weekend fun? Mine was everyday until I bought second car, due to the new congestion charges in London coming into play, plus have done it up quite a bit and dont want to leave it parked anywhere as will worry about it 24/7 I know Andy use to use his everyday but likewise got another car cos the mileage was racking up quite a bit
Stew
I used mine everyday and it was fine. I got a second car to keep mileage down. I actually appreciate the Zed a lot more when I drive a styleless and gutless non handling diesel boat to work!
Digsy
Zed 1 got used every day, racking up 34k miles in less than 3 years. Zed 2 barely leaves the house as I no longer commute to work and for short hops I just jump in the Micra.
Beavis
Just a toy for me, only when i am not working and it's sunny And very little winter use. Mine is 3 year's old in May and as never been used on a salty road yet.
Chris`I
Daily driver, 60miles a day, 20k miles extra on the clock since I got it about 10 months ago! Depreciating like a good un, but I'm having fun! When its not worth a lot I have an excuse to go SC or TT
sl114
WHen i had it, i started off using it to drive to the station and leaving it outside my ex's house, it was a private road so very secure, however after a while i decided to take a different train which was quicker so the zed became a weekend car, mainly to go see sarah. Why would a faster train mean that you leave your car at home you still have to get to the station?
Trev-the-Rev
Daily use of around 50 miles. Never been one to have a car locked up in the garage

Why would a faster train mean that you leave your car at home? Because i first started driving to the underground as it worked out cheaper, however there was an overground station 5minutes walk from my house and it worked out being only £10 more a month, which i paid a lot more for in petrol, therefore saving money and racking up miles on the car
rickya
Daily but only 6 miles a day to work & weekends occasionaly. But never parked on street anywhere; never enters supermarkets & rarely shopping centres. At work she has her own parking area about 12ft by 20ft with walls on either side. Most of the time warm & tucked up in her garage at home!!
H5
Mine is a mix really. With a couple of others that I can use the Volvo tends to get used most this time of year. When the mood takes me then I take the Zed.
law350
daily for me.............i only do about 20 ish miles a day mostly, but even if i did more i probably would not get myself back to the diesel days of rep mobiles!!!;-)

mbs
Use the Zed mostly weekends in Spring & Summer, rest of the time I'm buzzing around in a Punto 40+ mpg. Really appreciate the Zed when it comes out of the garage.
lomoto
once in a blue moon for me... it's an original 02 car with 16k on the clock
holtehero
Been my daily car for 9 months and have put far too many miles on it (about 16K), now up for sale as my mileage is going to increase even more. Wouldn't trade those 9 months and the depreciation for anything though
martinmac
Rarely out of it for the six months I am off. Dont worry about depreciation as my son is the next owner. The car may as well enjoy being looked after while it can.
M13KYF
all week posing Fortunately the trip to work is only small so mileage is very low
Zedrush
all week posing Fortunately the trip to work is only small so mileage is very low can it damage the engine only doing short trips all the time or is that old wives tale?
davej
since i wrote off me pick up, the Z is the daily driver, and otherwise it usually lives life as a second car ferrying janice to the gym, and at weekends, also usually does a 130mile round trip from work to york for janice's netball matches I'd forgotten what it was like being on first name terms with the staff at the shell garage! MrLizard
daily driver for me, 32 mile round trip and some good roads occasionally take the misses Toyota Aygo which makes me re-appreciatte the zed all over again.
GIXXERUK
Daily driver for me but since i now do 400 miles a week to work and back i'm looking for a diesel, mainly because of economy and depreciation
