secretstar07979
I have my engine light come on occasionally. I've been told it's down to some kind of sensor due to my aftermarket exhaust? Can someone explain this to me? What sensor is causing the issue? Also, I've been told I need a "spacer" to solve the problem? Again, can you explain what this means. Thanks guys
Jords
Lambda sensors in the exhaust can be intermittently faulty and can easily be disturbed. If you still have the catalytic converters then a spacer won't help, the spacers are to try and trick the sensor into not reading the bad gasses that the cats are supposed to stop. Best bet is to get the ecu read for the codes. Or if your impatient like me just reset the ecu and if it doesn't come back on straight away it is at least an indication that it's an intermittent sensor problem. Colin747
Do you have High-Flow/Performance cats installed as well?
