Cray Z
So I got my nismo today and opted for scratch shield as an 800 quid option. Have any of you got it? This is the only info I can find about it on the web: Amazing stuff! However I was speaking to nissan about future protection and they seem to think I polish it as usual. They did say that as paint on new cars is water based and takes about 2 years to fully cure, I should keep the car away from tree sap and such to protect the paint. Do I need to get super guard or is the scratch shield enough? The nissan rep is looking into it as not even he can find much info Lol! Cray Z
Also found this www.nissan-global.com/EN/TECHNOLOGY/OVERVIEW/scratch.html But it doesn't say much in the ways of maintenance Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
Mikevv
I just got mine wrapped in PPF. They never offered me this option. £1200 to do the whole front of the car, bumpers bonnet and wings.
Kev
PPF is much better. But the really good self healing stuff costs a fortune. I know someone who spent £4K on PPF on his M3. He said it was cheap for what it was!
Mikevv
Yeah thats what I was quoted too.Decided to only do front end. £4k to basically never have to worry about scratching your £60k car is good hahaha I contemplated doing it on the Nismo but didn't have the spare cash.
