ijackeeeh
Hi there, new to the forum and am currently looking at a 350z to buy, there is currently one at a dealership which has 106k miles and a full Nissan history. My question is, is this an okay mileage? And what to look for on the viewing and what to look for to be done at this mileage work wise? Cheers! sasha@lazytrips
Some cars here are pushing the 150k-200k range with no issues at all. This depends a lot on how the car has been maintained and serviced and what petrol has been used through the engine's life. Check for typical wear, rust around wheel arches, creaks and noises that shouldn't be there, but overall, you're buying some pretty robust Japanese manufacturing so if it is well looked after, it should run just fine for another 100k! Flex
Ours is on 120k no worries. Look at condition and if all major items replaced recently then that's got to be a good thing. See if the dealership (where serviced) has had any bad reviews.
coldel
I presume you are on a bit of a budget? What you looking to spend? If you are spending around £5k-£6k then you are most likely looking at high milers, so buy on condition the miles are fine just check for perishables being replaced (like any high mile car)
GMballistic
Welcome aboard. Most looked after Zeds will easily cope with 100K miles and more but if it's not been well looked after then then the engine could go well before that just like any car that's been abused tbh. Checking the service history is vital imo as well as checking the engine over as thoroughly as possible before you buy. Have a good look at the 350Z service schedule to see what things should of been done to any 350 depending on the mileage/age.
