Chris Wiltshire
Hi, Lately I've developed a soft clutch that sticks down when the car gets hot or I'm driving aggressively. I believe this is most likely the slave cylinder thats a common problem on these cars however I've also developed some other problems which include an intermittent loss of power when accelerating and also stalling. When stopped at lights it's stalled and also straight after starting the car it stalled. I haven't noticed any visible slipping in 5th or 6th.. Can a faulty slave cause power loss and stalling? No codes are showing. I would check the spark plugs and coils but I find it a bit strange that I'm having these problems now that the clutch has gone soft so maybe they are connected? Thanks! GMballistic
Moved the thread to "Technical" for you Chris as you might get more help. Not up on the 370Z sorry so I can't really help you sorry. Just a thought though could the intermittent loss of power be down to the car going in "limp" mode? Any EML's on the dashboard?
