Jetpilot
I know there has been a fair bit of chat on here about the new Nsx, I saw one in the flesh today, I didnt get a chance to grab a photo as it passed me in the local boatyard, but I must say, it did look pretty good in the flesh
galgazza
There are a few available on auto trader but you need deep pockets .
Angrybiker
I've never considered myself a ' badge snob' but if I'm spending £200k on a car it wouldn't have a Honda badge. Sent from my SM-G928F using Tapatalk

Strudul
Although, just a note on that. A GT-R Nismo is £150k, would you take issue with that having a Nissan badge? An LFA is £350k, okay that comes with a Lexus badge, but that's just a fancy Toyota really. Again, problem? You big badge snob, you
DoogyRev
I agree, for the money I would want something with little more of an exciting name Edited April 5, 2017 by DoogyRev

Jetpilot
Badge aside, it is much better in the flesh than any photo I have seen is all I was saying and if you really want a hybrid supercar and you dont like a Honda badge, your pockets are going to need to be substantially deeper, whilst they are plenty of options, there are not many choices if thats what you want. Strudul
BMW i8.... Half as deep. Edited April 6, 2017 by Strudul
Ekona
And an even less interesting engine. No chance I'd be paying £150K for a Honda anything when the 570GT or R8 are the same price. Significantly more desirable cars, albeit not hybrid (which isn't entirely a bad thing). Now if Honda were to bring out a road version of the GT3-spec car, that would be right up my street. coldel
I think they look stunning, and not one to 'go with the crowd' would have one in the blink of an eye over and R8 - I mean if we are talking badge snobbery its no worse.
Aashenfox
If I had 200k for a hybrid supercar, the NSX would be it. I don't like the BMW and I for one, get a warm and fuzzy feeling inside whenever I see the Honda badge. By far the two best cars overall that I ever owned were my S2000 an my EP3 Type R. Particularly the Type R got a daily raping and never asked for ANYTHING in return over 3 years, bought with 100k miles on it. Ah...Honda love. Well German badges tend to be higher in the badge snobbery league than Japanese ones.
Jetpilot
I don't like the BMW If your talking the i8, its far from a supercar, its about as much comparable to an Nsx as a Prius
Jay84
I like the underdog idea with cars like the NSX. A household named car mixing it up with the big boys. It makes it seem like something like this could be within my grasp for ownership. Obviously it wont lol. I had a chat with a friend doing a track day and he had to choose 3 out of Ferrari (dont know which), Porsche (dont' know which again), Aston (You probably get the picture), a lambourghini, an Audi R8 and a Nissan GTR. Now I'd have a GTR in a heartbeat, but I couldn't tell him to use it on the track day, because in my head I can own one...but I cant see myself owning a Ferrari. To complete the post, because I know you all love closure; He went Lambo, R8 and Ferrari.
Aashenfox
I've not driven an R8, so worthless comment is worthless, however, if Clarkson and many other enthusiasts are to be believed, while it has good performance, you'll fall asleep at the wheel out of boredom. Some say it's about as exciting to drive as an S3. I'd have taken the Porsche, the GTR and the Ferrari: Rear engine madness, computer controlled trickery and racing focused purity, three different directions that all lead to automotive greatness. If we're talking daily, I'll take the Aston, thank you very much. Edited April 6, 2017 by Aashenfox
Jetpilot
The badge related question is an interesting one, would i pay £120k without options for an Audi R8, not a chance, but people do and whilst it may cost you £200k to get into an Nsx at this stage, the base price is £143k, £20k more with the absolute pinnacle of modern tech, seems like an absolute bargain compared to the R8. * Yes of course i would prefer a V10 over a hybrid (still not a R8), but as per elsewhere, if you want a hybrid supercar its a bargain, Honda or not. nowhereboy
R8 does nothing for me personally. I'd take the Honda all day long over it.
nissanman312
I'd 100% have one just to be a bit different and not have to follow sheep But also know it's a bloody good solid car if any other honda I've had is anything to go by

TT350
It'll be like seeing a GTR. Oh, another GTR with a 17 year old Asian fellow driving. (Not being racialist. It's the location I'm in!) If I see a nice R32 I get enthusiastic. If I saw an old NSX I'd cry. Edited April 10, 2017 by TT350
