Steve3085
Hello all, So about 7 months ago I bought some work wheels split rim, with some lovely dish on them. Being self employed and working all hours over the winter months the wheels weren't cleaned as much as I wanted. I came to clean them using 'wonder wheels wheel cleaner' which is just a spray on, soak and power wash off formula. Much to my dismay, the wheels are still dirty as hell, and I want nice clean dishes...😂 Any advice, tips on cleaning products? I have tried car shampoo on them too. 😔 Steve. Lexx
Start with a fallout remover. That removes almost all the dirt. Then wash with whatever car shampoo you prefer. Then use a dedicated wheel sealant.
Paul K
Tip number 1- bin the Wonder wheels!!! Tip 2 - if your stuck with Halfords. Go with the Meguiar's Hot wheels or similar, then good brushes and regular car shampoo Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Jetpilot
Sorry buddy, once polished lips are gone nothing will really bet them back to their best apart from a proper polish by a metal polisher, sure there will be one near you, although you may have to split them down. Def ditch the wonder wheels, its acidic from what I remember.
