Payco
Ok.I have decided on the rims for my incoming 370z Nismo.I have opted for the Ferrada FR3.20x10.5 ET 15 rear and 20x9.0 ET 25 front. Question is are my tyre specs ok at 255x35R20 front and 275x35R20rear. Want a flush look lowered on my Tein S springs. All feedback appreciated. brillomaster
are you sure you don't mean 35 profile tyres? 275/45/R20 is a ginormous tyre...

Maddog
I had 275 35 20's on my 350z with standard suspension and really there isn't much room under there, i could just manage 2 fingers clearance fill up with fuel and you might be touching on our lovely bumpy uneven roads and you will more than likely have to roll the arch lips in maybe 30's profile would give a bit more clearance ? Payco
Been told 255x30/20 and 285x30/20 by the supplier is ideal.Any thoughts ?.
Payco
They are going on a 370z Nismo tho.
docwra
285 on the rear might be a bit much, a 275 is plenty on a 10.5 particularly if you have clearance concerns. 10.5 ET 15 is going to be close on the outside edge but I reckon will just clear. No point comparing with anything else unless you know the offsets in both cases and reducing profile isnt going to make a clearance issue go away
Payco
Thanks Docwra.Hoping it should be fine with the large Nismo arches. Edited March 31, 2017 by Payco
docwra
Sorry mate, didnt see this was a 370Z - means the comparison above is even less helpful This gentleman is running a 10.5 ET12 with 285/30/19 on rear: And this one is 20x11 ET5 with a 305/25: Neither car has archwork or additional; camber so I reckon youll be fine ....... and on checking the standar rears are 19x10.5 ET23 with a 285/35, youll be laughing my firend Edited March 31, 2017 by docwra
