TiN TiN
I've been reading bits on the effects of changing the differential fluid/oil and it seems like it's caused negative effects for some people (crunching gears, deposits etc). What are your experiences, having changed it? Particularly in terms of the slip on the wheels. Has it had any effect on how the wheels spin up together? (LSD models) Has anyone had any negative effects? Sent from my E6653 using Tapatalk
colesl4w
Just had my diff oil changed a few days ago. Probably too early to tell if there were any negative effects but everything seems great so far.
The Chubby Ninja
It will be fine. Gears crunching can be caused by wrong oil in the gearbox not the diff. Did you use nissan diff oil?
Richf
Nice fresh oil can make the diff quicker to lock up , which is a good thing imo
docwra
Nice fresh oil can make the diff quicker to lock up , which is a good thing imo You arent replacing whats in the viscous unit so it shouldn't really have any dynamic effect, might be a bit smoother and a bit quieter though.
