Rob T
Sorry, another noob question!! I have to buy some front discs and pads ASAP. I'll just be driving on road, quite hard, but with no track use. I'm after a quality upgrade, but don't have a fortune to spend. Price-wise, the best bang-for-buck seems to be: Ferodo DS2500 pads - £90 DBA T2 discs - £215 Would this be a good combo?!
Rich260
Yes, for road use this will be more than good enough for what you need
Rob T
Will it look weird with grooved discs on the front and standard on the back... 😂
Rich260
Your shout really mate, there are far worse things being done to Z's on this forum lately than running grooved rotors on the front and oem on the rear haha. It would be better to do the whole lot in one hit but if costs are prohibitive then get the rears done at a later date.
Strudul
Will it look weird with grooved discs on the front and standard on the back... Lil bit, but doesn't look terrible. Rotors are one of the last things you're checking out on a Z. Edited March 30, 2017 by Strudul
Rob T
Cheers for the feedback. I can't afford to do the lot right now, so I'll do the rears when I can 👠
glrnet
I ditched the Ferodo's as they were really dusty, replaced them with Hawk Creamic Pads and much better imo, seem a touch more efficient too when driven hard.

SJO
EBC Red Stuff pads are ace. The Brembo pads were like cardboard for me.
