Who do you use to upload pictures onto threads these days?

I used to use photobucket but it's become really bloated and slow lately.

What do you guys use to embed pictures into threads these days?

I've got my project thread I want to update but the thought of continuing to use Photobucket makes me want to give up lol

Interesting that you mention imgur.

I looked this up last night and tried Google photos; that doesn't give jpeg links so the images aren't embedded. Then I tried imgur and it seemed more like an Instagram type deal?

It wants to be a social media platform, hence the apps being a bit annoying and asking you to "share" and "write something" and "publish" but you can still use it in the photobucket style to embed images. I'm too old to be fannying around with new social media attempts, I've only just learnt MySpace and Friends Reunited ;)

You've reminded me I meant to do a how to for imgur on here.

Last time I checked, you could find someones FB account via an img url linked to their account. Just a heads up.

Also I always find that FB / PB etc (non-imgur) links always end up broken after a while from the owner removing them etc. At which point threads (especially tutorial ones) are ruined.

PB is fine, until someone links their images wrong and it directs to an html page rather than the image and I have to deal with the PB site itself.

The page loads, but then before I can do anything I'm greeted with this BS:

da6cce03c2669964e12625d9830fdb77.png

And everything takes 3 clicks before actually doing what I asked because it's too slow and gets itself confused. If I try click the zoom + button for example, it will start loading the new page / image, but then because it hadn't fully finished loading the previous page, it will cancel loading the new page and revert back to fully loading the first page.

It's probably fine for those of you with a 3 APM and your 1-finger typing ;), but isn't suitable for fast use.
