Rob T Posted March 20, 2017 Share Posted March 20, 2017 On the way to work today my engine suddenly stalled when I was changing from 2nd to 3rd gear at approx 5500rpm. While still rolling I managed to get it started again, but immediately it cut out when I tried to put it in gear. I then pulled over and the car would not start properly. When you turn the key, it catches, but then just cuts out straight away. My mechanic has seen it, and guesses it may be the air flow sensor, but there are no fault codes, other than an O2 sensor code due to the decats. I didn't get an error for the cam sensor - however I knew it was that as I'd just changed it over. didn't happen again after putting the original one back in. AFM issue may not give a fault code so it could be that but it should still start and run on limphome rather than die entirely, my money is on fueling somewhere.
