TT350
I just found out Bill Paxton died. I'm quite gutted. He was in some of my favourite films and always had a presence. He was only 61 and had started filming Training Day series. Died of surgery complications. Was always a running joke of fans that one day his character would actually survive for the entirety of a film. Being a big Aliens fan, his role of Hudson was my favourite. Then as Chet in Weird Science. R.I.P

TT350
I will Watch Aliens and Weird Science tonight. I'm actually quite bummed about it. No one who I particularly liked in TV/films has died apart from the guy who played General Hammond in Stargate SG1 (Don S Davis)

brillomaster
NOOOOOOOO not Bill Paxton! that's a real shame. He was consistently awesome. Favourite role was a sleazy car salesman pretending to be a secret agent in True Lies. RIP.
PiGFoetus
One of those actors that I'd watch a film I'd not heard of before just because they were in it. I watched Trespass again last night ... Bill Paxton and William Sadler vs. Ices Cube and T ... great romp.
Paddy78
Killed by Alien, Terminator and Predator - Legend!

I watched Trespass again last night ... Bill Paxton and William Sadler vs. Ices Cube and T ... great romp. That is a really good film. I saw it years ago when C4 was decent and had a late film on most nights. Was one of those times I was bored and just channel hopping and discovered that film. JetSet
I just found out Bill Paxton died. Was always a running joke of fans that one day his character would actually survive for the entirety of a film. Against the odds he survived in Apollo 13 Pete
SimonKevNorris
Don't forget that he played Simon (the car dealer who pretended he was a secret agent) in True Lies. Another talent gone too soon.
davey_83
Class in True Lies RIP
TT350
He was in Commando too. Weird how all the actors in Aliens, despite an epic film and epic acting, none of them made it big. Apart from Sigourney Weaver who I think may have been the first actress to get £20m for a role.
TT350
Also, Vasquez and Hudson were both in Titanic.
GMballistic
Yes I heard this terrible news the other day. Such a great actor and not a great age to go really. Very sad. RIP.
