veilside z
Cat C has to undergo a check to find if its roadworthy usually with panel and mechanical issues. Would have thought this would be a Cat B .. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/302213530044 Edited February 12, 2017 by veilside z
Ekona
Cat C is purely given on financial cost grounds to repair. Cat B is where things get cheeky with substantial damage to the main structure, hence why you can no longer register a car with the DVLA for a V5 (doesn't mean they're illegal to sell or own though). Cat C does not have to under a VIC inspection. That was removed about 18 months ago. No idea why you think a scratched car should be a Cat B

Jetpilot
Cat C has to undergo a check to find if its roadworthy usually with panel and mechanical issues. Would have thought this would be a Cat B .. However it's selling. www.ebay.co.uk/itm/nissan-350z-immaculate-45k-fsh-drift-stance-/302213530044?hash=item465d5481bc:g:BqQAAOSwTglYk4 to being scratched. For the third time in 12 months, the VIC test has/had absolutely nothing to do with road worthiness or to check the repairs, it is/was a Vehicle IDENTITY Check to make sure its not a ringer and is no longer in operation, any reason why you dont believe me? Ekona
Not being funny mate, but you do this an awful lot and sometimes it might be nice to actually hear your opinion on things. There's no right or wrong, but it helps stimulate a thread if you do pass comment as well.
Andy_Muxlow
I think it would have made a good buy for someone it looks like it has been finished to a high standard, not too keen on the wheels but that's just me.
