GC350z
With the Geneva show almost upon us I need some quick advice. I’ll be taking as many pictures as my memory cards will hold and want to be prepared. So camera gurus out there, what lens would you recommend to get the best quality pics? At the moment I’m thinking 10-22mm, which I don’t have, but am prepared to beg borrow or steal if need be. As the show is indoor should I get hold of a decent flash or could I assume the lighting will be sufficient to use the built in flash? (Canon 400d) Is there anything I’ll inevitably forget aside from tickets? Guy
stanski
Is there anything I’ll inevitably forget aside from tickets I dont know about Canon gear but I would make sure you have a number of memory cards - they are so cheap now but most importantly batteries!! Rechargeable or if it can take alkaline AA's for example as spares etc? I guess its a pop up flash? Pop up flashes are ok for close up work but I am guessing in a big hall your better off with a proper external one - again they are cheap these days if you ignore the own brand ones. Practice first at home so your used to lighting conditions and dont forget to adjust the white balance on the camera to take into account the kind of lighting you will come up against - sorry if I am teaching you to suck egs here! Enjoy the show and can you post a few pics here when you get back?
