retro_al
So im getting my car ready for its first track day, i have just fitted a new rad, oil cooler etc, now im think while im doing all this i should remove the ac rad and the ac pump, can i just pull the ac rad out and leave the pipes there and if I remove the pump do I need to put some kind of blanking plate where it was? I rarely use this car so I don't see the point of AC as you know its never hot enough here in the uk anyway Edited January 31, 2017 by retro_al
ZMANALEX
Pull the rad and leave the pipes if you prefer. No blank required for the pump. Best to get your self a set of air con pipe removal tools otherwise you will end up having to cut the pipes.
retro_al
So its okay to leave pipes from the ac rad and the pipes that attach to the pump, that would be better as I could replace pump and rad if I wanted to sell car later
