Neil
Hi, I have purchased a 370z 2016 plate. I cannot download my iPhone 6 phone book to the car and therefore cannot see any caller display. When I select 'download phonebook' the bluetooth connection drops. I then select 'OK' and the bluetooth connection restores. Has anyone managed to download their phonebook to the car and if 'yes', can you tell me how to do it please? Nissan technical have said 'that's how it is on the 370z' which I find hard to believe. Thanks in advance. Neil

Neil
Hi Renegade, Thanks for this, but I know I am connecting correctly. My problem is that when I select the 'download phone book' option, Bluetooth disconnects. When I hit the 'OK' button to continue, Bluetooth reconnects. Nissan are suggesting it is a iPhone issue but I have tried several phones (friends) and the issue remains. I guess that as no one seems to have an issue, it must be the car system, but I need to convince Nissan of this... Thanks Neil
Renegade
In the hand book it says :- Wireless LAN (Wi-Fi) and the Bluetooth􀂊 functions share the same frequency band (2.4 GHz). Using the Bluetooth􀂊 and the wireless LAN functions at the same time may slow down or disconnect the communication and cause undesired noise. It is recommended that you turn off the wireless LAN (Wi-Fi) when using the Bluetooth􀂊 functions Try turning your phones wifi off, if it is on as an experiment. Neil
Thanks again, Renegade, I actually said out loud 'that makes perfect sense' when I read your post so I ran to the car with great anticipation. Unfortunately it did not work The message 'add to handset memory' message appears and I click 'OK'. At this point the bluetooth drops - can't work it out. I'll keep on it though. Thanks again. Renegade
Are you sure it says add to handset memory ? as that to me looks as though the car wants to write to the phone memory. If that's even possible. If you go to settings, then phone. Is auto download turned on ? that is for the phone address book. I never use mine it was 2015 when I set it up. I have just been to the car and my phone just connected. Though it is an old Samsung S2.
Neil
HI Renegade, When I select 'download phone book' I see image attached. If I select 'yes', the Bluetooth connection drops and I see the second message. I do not see any prompt on the phone to add a passkey so I select 'done'. Bluetooth connection is restored. If I select 'No' to the 'Add to handset memory message' nothing happens. I am convinced there is a fault with the Media System but need to prove this so that Nissan take notice. Thank you for help.
