Stephanie
Normally wouldn't go to main dealer but my Zed currently has full Nissan service history (believe it or not) so ideally I would like to keep that going, was thinking either Epsom Nissan or Guildford Nissan. Anybody any experience with either of them? Thanks in advance 😎 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
RobPhoboS
Depending on the age/mileage - is that really worth it ??? Just to change oil filter etc
Stephanie
Depending on the age/mileage - is that really worth it ???Just to change oil filter etc Thanks buddy, it's only done 50K miles. I know Nissan will probably rip me a new one but it is attractive for prospective buyers when I come to sell her on in a couple years. I'm only 15/20 mins from both so it's pretty convenient for me as well 😂 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
RobPhoboS
Ok pretty low mileage but (no offense intended here!) - I just can't imagine someone caring that much about it now, as long as it's been serviced, sure, and proof of it but by Nissan specifically ? You have guys like Sly at Kaizer Motors who worked at Nissan for 10 years or something, plus plenty of other places (closer to you) that have experienced people who have been working the cars for years, unlike Nissan themselves most likely Still just a service, do a search on here, see if anything comes up. Don't think the vast majority of prospective buyers care too much about it but I think it is just a bonus if it does have FNSH. A full dated record from the manufacturer on the system of what's been done can't be a bad thing 😊 I know I could save some pennies but it's just convenience, would rather just carry on the servicing with them. And hopefully block book in a plan so it's all done and paid forðŸ‘🼠I have a local (10 min drive) garage to me who has done all my servicing on my daily at fairly good rates but I feel I'd be cutting the Zed short if I was to stop the existing track record. Just my ideal preference really, we shall see 😊 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Ebized
When I was living in Epsom, post the warranty period I took my Zeds to TGM Motorsport at Fleet (ask for Tom). OK, so they are in Hampshire just off Junc 4a of the M3, but they have a god reputation on here for servicing and bodywork on the Zeds. http://www.tgmsport.co.uk
Will370z
Personally i wouldnt go to Nissan Guildford. In my experience they were not helpful at all. Limited knowledge of the car, no acknowledgment of the steering lock issue and no advice. Nissan Aldershot on the other hand (its a performance specialist) were very knowledgable and helpful. They immediately recognised the issue and got it all sorted with the minimum of fuss. I do know a couple of people on here have had issues with them though. However for me, i take my car on a 120mile round trip to Slys at Kaizer Motor, the stamp i nthe book from him is worth more to anyone who really knows the car. AliveBoy
1,000 times agree with Will, don't go to Guildford Nissan. I've always found Aldershot to be good though. If it's just servicing and the like, I and a few other members can help out (that goes for any member in the area!)
Mark@Abbey m/s
We are just off of Junction 6 of the M25 in Surrey. http://www.abbeymotorsport.co.uk we can look after you and your 350Z no problem Edited January 17, 2017 by Mark@Abbey m/s
RickyZ
+1 on Nissan Aldershot. They are a HPC and have always done a good job on mine. You also get a years free European roadside assistance if you get it serviced there which is nice.
coldel
I have always serviced my cars on my own, never been an issue come sale time, although can see the temptation to keep it Nissan. Actually, anyone who has bought my cars have done so because of the documented build threads (advise you start one) and the videos I take for the adverts. As long as there is evidence the car is serviced it will usually suffice - I know that many dealerships will toss the keys to the youngest lad in the workshop for the service, whereas go to somewhere like TGM, Horsham Dev of Sly and you are getting a much more experienced person on it. I know where I would put my money.

Stephanie
Thanks for all the advice and experiences. Will probably give Aldershot Nissan a ring and see what's what. I drive to Aldershot on a weekly basis so works well with my schedule. Abbeymotorsport -thanks Mark, read and heard many, many great things will keep you in mind perhaps for non-servicing bookingsðŸ‘🼠Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
coldel
My Celica is heading to TGM soon, they also worked on my R33 previously, cannot fault them. And the rows of motorsport Hondas they have outside are well worth a nose around too!
Linus27
I know Tom at TGM really well so I can highly recommend them. I send all my cars (Lotus, Honda, Subaru and Mazda) to him and wouldn't consider sending them anywhere else. He's a Honda specialist but works on every make of car and has some amazing cars in his workshop all the time from Nissan GTR GT3 race cars, single seater's, to family hatch backs. He also races in 24 hour endurance races and preps race cars for BTCC, Blancpain and other race series as well as my track car. He also loves 350z's and I've seen a fair few in his work shop. If you do go, tell him Michael with the Subaru/Lotus sent you and he'll look after you
