ZeppoJeff
Seems the beloved Michelin pilot super sport is getting discontinued and the Michelin pilot sport 4 s is taking its place http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk/Article/Michelin-Pilot-Sport-4-S-Press-Release.htm
Ekona
Old news, still a stupid name. So many people are going to end up with regular 4s thinking theure 4seses.
SHEZZA
Looking at michelin's website only the 4s are available for the Rays, at the moment anyway ?
Ekona
The 4s (as opposed to the 4S) are available in 18", 4S only in 19" & 20" I believe. It may change, but I doubt it.

coldel
Seems the beloved Michelin pilot super sport is getting discontinued and the Michelin pilot sport 4 s is taking its place http://www.tyrerevie...ess-Release.htm The diagrams on that site are utterly shocking, should be sued for misleading consumers
Ekona
Dreadful, aren't they? Has any put the New MPS4 on? How do they compare to the MPSS? My MPSS are down to 3mm on mine now, so need changing. Not sure whether to try the MPS4s just for sh*ts and giggles, or go straight to 888Rs.

Ekona
I'm tempted but only because I do want to try the 4s. I have no issue running trackday rubber all year round, it's only a fun car after all.

Ebized
Don't worry he will have to try them as he needs to keep his commission from Michelin for being their salesman on here.

The G Man
You sure? http://www.tyrepress.com/2016/01/2016-ford-focus-rs-fitted-with-michelin-tyres/ Ok not MPS4S, but a decent tyre nonetheless;). Plus the RS Mk3 came a bit early for the MPS4S release Edited January 17, 2017 by The G Man
andy james
Just to complicate things further I need to replace both sets of tyres on my wheels soon. Rays for sprinting which I think r888r would be the best bet and my 19 roadies which are shod with MPSS and have surpassed all expectations of grip in all conditions. Do I replace them with MPS4 or go for Cup2s? Advice Dan! Lol.

Ekona
If you've got the cash, then Cup2s all the way. They're much more wet weather friendly now than the original Cups used to be, the GT3/RS/Speciale guys are more than happy with them in all conditions.
