martybhoy
Hey guys, Thought I'd share my test of the auto finesse iron out product in the off chance you were considering it. Sadly it's on the 350z replacement. Still gutted I'm no longer a Z owner.
davey_83
Looks fab, tested on right mucky wheels would be more impressive though.
Andy_Muxlow
Looks great buddy. I have been thinking about getting some. Were you happy with the results? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
martybhoy
Looks fab, tested on right mucky wheels would be more impressive though. I think the sharpness of the camera maybe didn't show the dirt and grime up as much. The wheel was moderately dirty with a lot of roadworks in my local area and around 250 miles use since the last wash. Looks great buddy. I have been thinking about getting some. Were you happy with the results? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I was particularly impressed. Without the use of a wheel cleaner product or any agitation with a brush or soap to be rinsed off and leave the wheel in the condition it was, I thought was very good. I have content for another video with purely the wheel cleaner which I'll upload when I get a chance, I found using iron out, rinse and then wheel cleaner left the wheels extremely bright, clean and smooth to the touch. I'll post try and make time if people respond well to the videos. Cheers for the first feedback.
Stutopia
Nice for a touchless wash. I was just using REVOLT on my wheels this morning. Smells like the end of the world. Is this any better?

Is this any better? Haha in all fairness this does smell pretty bad! Not used Revolt though so can't say which is better/worse.

Not according to the tests in my thread, no. Revolt is currently my go to and I'd be surprised if anything that's not Bilt Hamber beats it... should I ever get round to finishing that test
coldel
I use BH Auto Wheel great stuff. Also smells. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
ilogikal1
Auto Wheels isn't exactly a pleasant scent, that's true - you certainly wouldn't want to use it as an air freshener! But it's still a lot better than some.
Stutopia
Larry makes a wheel one which smells delicious - plum scented. It's also one of the more competitively priced in the range (ignoring international shipping and import duty and the collapse of sterling )
Olly350z
Used one of the juicy range fallout removers from Steveo and was very impressed. But my god, why do these all smell like hells arsehole!?
ilogikal1
But my god, why do these all smell like hells arsehole!? They're typically Oxalic/Thioglycolic acid based and utilises ammonia.

coldel
If you order it on some ebay traders you get a cute little agitation brush and microfibre towel chucked in with it too.
Paul_B
I used Autosmart's Red7 it half the price of iron X plus doesn't smell as bad and I think it does a much better job.

Ricey
Envys Iron Awe smells a bit better. Tims put some sort of fragrance in it to cover the ammonia smell Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
martybhoy
I didn't realise how popular the Iron remover products were. I would really like to try some of Larrys stuff but I dont seem to find a UK supplier at a reasonable price.
ilogikal1
There aren't any official resellers, UK or Stateside. Larry is the only official seller of his products and shipping is a set price.

teejay
can anyone tell me if this iron out removes c5 in the cleaning process
ilogikal1
can anyone tell me if this iron out removes c5 in the cleaning process I can. It does not. C5 can withstand acids like fallout removers but will be weakened by strong alkalis (such as "non-acidic" wheel cleaners).
