davey_83
Had a quick search, but found nothing relating. Had some time over the holiday period to upgrade my pcv hoses and was surprised to find the engine bay dripping with water. Together with the underside of the bonnet dripping wet too. Granted I haven't used the car for a fortnight, but still wouldn't expect that. This didn't happen last winter, however it was nowhere near as cold here in the West Midlands. So apart from "drive the car more comments" is this common and anything to do with the ally bonnet?
Commander
It's cold, wet, and if it's anything like where I am at the moment, foggy too. Of course it's going to get full of condensation, it probably did happen last year but you just didn't notice, and the people who say "drive it more" are spot on. The end
ioneabee
condensation is created when warm moist air meets a cold surface we're having a particularly warm December with a lot of moisture - your bonnet is metal ergo condensation will form
davey_83
Ahh I see, I gave a jump start this morning with the daily and yep loads of condensation in the engine bay too. Perfectly normal then.
