Stew
Introducing the Jockland Hoon! A drive out in Scotland taking in some of the finest scenery the UK has to offer! The plan (still to be finalised) is to take in the legendary Applecross Pass among some other great roads. The highlights will be the scenery, the technical twisties and the long straights! There will be photo stops and lunch out too. Something for everyone! If the other half isn't content with this then make a weekend of it and take her shopping in either Glasgow or Edinburgh. The route will be close enough to commute to either afterwards! Or perhaps a distillery tour for the whisky lovers amongst you! So all that needs to be decided (before the route is finalised) is when you folks want to descend on this fair nation! stews wonderfully prepared documents are now available for download for all those going and perhaps entice a few more to see what they are missing download from here http://www.350z-uk.com/jockland/Hoon08.doc http://www.350z-uk.com/jockland/Hoon08.pdf

Would be great to get a good meet up in Scotland, and Ive never driven in Scotland either

martinmac
Sounds great for a long weekend out. Couple of DF Mars bars for energy and bring it on 180 miles is a run to the shops up north

Stew
I do have a shorter route planned but wanted to give you that option first. I'm doing the 180 mile one as a 'test' sometime soon. :teeth: The extended version is up to 430 miles! I'll let the masses decide later!
