nixy Posted February 20, 2008 Share Posted February 20, 2008 Not only have I just suffered the stress of moving house and have a whole house to 'do up' but I have also moved within my office at work. I have been put in a specialist team in the bloody attic of the building. I am working more closely with our investigators working purely on planning issues (boring). So instead of working in a support staff room where we have a laugh and a bitch and a joke etc I am sat in the same room as two investigators and am having to actually.............WORK!!!! Nightmare! The bloke sat at the next desk is snorting flem up all day and munching stuff out of his drawer like a hamster and now I can't have my radio on either! I'm a planner , (self-employed) and more often than not helping out those who have the 'investigators' knocking on their door. But I can understand the description of the office set-up having worked in Local Authorities some while back. No doubt you've been told of the enforcement officers that have been killed or shot at by trangressors not taking kindly to having to pull down the houses they have built where they shouldn't? Office moves are fun at the best of time, good excuse to do no work and pretend to lose things, haha.
