lomoto
I was passing the time of day with a mate of mine in the Bodywork game , he was restoring some really shabby paintwork on an old VW Golf in black , the paintwork came up like a mirrore with the setup he was using, a quick call to the local Motor Factor and I was the owner of a CP 240v polisher ..I cant wait to use it in anger on something
Stew
Rotary polisher! Ooooh! Mind the paint on the Zed is VERY thin! I'll stick to my Porter Cable as I'm less likely to see a wonderful unpainted bonnet with that....... Very nice though Tim. Find something German to practice on. They have three feet thick paint! lomoto
Anyone would think I was using an angle grinder on it it will be OK with some fine finishing paste, besides my front end has had several coats of paint

Take a look on Detailing World at the huge number of over done efforts with rotaries..... But with nothing abrasive you will be fine.
