I was passing the time of day with a mate of mine in the Bodywork game , he was restoring some really shabby paintwork on an old VW Golf in black , the paintwork came up like a mirrore with the setup he was using, a quick call to the local Motor Factor and I was the owner of a CP 240v polisher ..I cant wait to use it in anger on something :teeth:

Rotary polisher! Ooooh! Mind the paint on the Zed is VERY thin!

I'll stick to my Porter Cable as I'm less likely to see a wonderful unpainted bonnet with that.......

Very nice though Tim. Find something German to practice on. They have three feet thick paint!

Anyone would think I was using an angle grinder on it

it will be OK with some fine finishing paste, besides my front end has had several coats of paint :teeth:

Only got your best interests at heart Tim.

Take a look on Detailing World at the huge number of over done efforts with rotaries..... :scare::blush:

But with nothing abrasive you will be fine.
