GMballistic
That's not good news to hear. Status Quo were the first group I ever listened to as my mother was a big fan so as a child I used to listen to my mothers tapes of them all the time. Happy memories of listening to "12 Gold Bars" and other albums as we went on holidays. RIP Rick.

Firkindolloper
Sorry to hear that Gary. As for Rick, that too is a shame although he did push the boundaries a bit.. I saw Quo on 9 Dec and they were great but they did miss him in the line up.

d95gas
Grew listening to Quo and loved every minute of it, this is a very sad loss, feel for his family, more so at this time of the year. R.I.P Rick
Ekona
Legend. Massively under appreciated by the younger generation I suspect, but forever a guitar god with an impeccable sense of timing and knack for a hook.

Saw the Quo this week in Glasgow and although musically good I did miss Rick, its not Quo without him, however didn't expect this to happen. The older you get the more of your musical icons you seem to lose,2016 has been bad í ½í¸¢

StevoD
Had the pleasure of seeing him with quo twice last year, and sent my parents to see the last show of the last nights of the electrics tour yesterday as my dad is a massive fan, for him to get back from Liverpool today and give him the news was a bit heartbreaking Edited December 25, 2016 by StevoD
Zeezeebaba
That's a shame. Wasn't it Rick who suffered from RSI after playing the same four chords over and over again?
