Irn Bru
Guys, I'm considering doing a colour change to my Zeds front and rear bumpers, side skirts and bonnet. Currently they are in original Sunset Orange, but due to road rash and chips I'm going to have to get a respray done again !!. Don't like the prices I'm getting for the work going with the original colour and issues with matching / blending it in. So was thinking of being a bit bold and going for a two tone colour scheme for her. Choosing to go with a generic metalic black as I know it's going to need done again in a another couple of years anyway and this will be an easier / cheaper option to get done and respray when needed. But I would like to see pictures of how she would look first before and if I decide to go down this road. Can any photoshop gurus help me out please ?. I'll post the pics up for any member who can help me out. http://s44.photobuck...html?sort=3&o=0 http://s44.photobuck...html?sort=3&o=1 http://s44.photobuck...html?sort=3&o=2 http://s44.photobuck...html?sort=3&o=3 http://s44.photobuck...html?sort=3&o=4 http://s44.photobuck...html?sort=3&o=5 http://s44.photobuck...tml?sort=3&o=16 Cheers, Bri. Strudul
Not sure about the bonnet, but the rest looks good. Want some more angles doing? Edited November 16, 2016 by Strudul
Strudul
Or there's these, which aren't perfect, but gives you an idea... Have a play yourself if you like. Edited November 16, 2016 by Strudul
Randy_Baton
The right angle step up in colur looks out of place on the rear and the front needs some orange on it.

Agreed but these are cgg shots, hopefully get a better idea if Strudul can use more of the pics I uploaded.
Irn Bru
Or there's these, which aren't perfect, but gives you an idea... Have a play yourself if you like. 2nd, 4th and fifth picture looks good but the lack of bumper definition on the 3rd pic make its look pants, but that's because of the cgg
Aashenfox
Looks like I'm a bit late to this party, but I also photoshop (for over 10 years) and enjoy doing it (time permitting) if anyone ever needs. PS. Front is the best view IMO if you're going to do this, its the rear that looks horribly wrong.
Irn Bru
Really need to see what Strudul can do using my original pics as opposed to the cgg ones as they really distort what it would look like in the metal
Aashenfox
Bit quick n dirty, but here ya go. I did these three as they seemed the most representative that hadn't already been done. EDIT: And I just noticed after posting them, I forgot to bring back the reflections in the front shot, hence it looks a little flat. Really not sure if I can go with my plans on this option and don't want to have repaint it after the repaint lol. It's the front that's bothering me the most tbh, but till I can get a good photoshop of that I'll keep open minded about it
Aashenfox
And the front again, this time with hood.

The wrap will also protect your panels and then you'll only need to re-wrap the panels that get damaged. It's win-win-win, except a little extra maintenance (basically careful washing with the right stuff, that's all).
Strudul
Bit less matte: And without bonnet
Irn Bru
Now I'm feeling that Strudul, much more representative of what I 'think' it would look like. I think if I replaced my number plate with a s/a vinyl one and mounted it on the bonnet and painted my mesh grill in sunset orange that could well work. Thanks for your efforts and Im due you a few beers at Coventry National meet.
Strudul
Was gonna say, if you can do your front grill orange it would look a lot better. Needs something to break up that slab of black. Or some of these painted orange: Edited November 16, 2016 by Strudul
