HRAB
Morning all, I am currently in the process of getting another Zed although a 370 this time. Please just link me to a thread if this has been answered elsewhere. What are the differences in spec between the 09/10/11 years? Wiki lists these but when checking in my friends 370 the specs are different for example......wiki takes about rain sensing wipers coming in on the 2011 cars yet his is 2010 and still has this feature. I test drove a 2009 manual GT a few days ago. It seemed to have most of the GT features (wheels rev match etc) but had no infotainment system (no satnav etc). Was this not part of the GT pack? Wayne370Z
Sat Nav was not standard equipment on the GT models until very recently. The main change in the last few years was the premium connect which I think was fitted from 2011. There is a thread on here somewhere which lists the different models/changes of since 2009. Alpinaman
Reverse camera Premium connect Rev match Different colour wheels Different suspension (GT edition) Auto wipers/ lights Nav Bluetooth ?? Crap anyway.. Bose?? I'm a newbie, but these are the difference I could see across the board for GT
HRAB
Cheers Wayne, I figured there would be a list somewhere, I had searched the forum before posting with no luck. Hopefully someone can point me in the direction of the thread. That's interesting about the nav pack, I guess hardly anyone went for a GT spec without it then. Wayne370Z
This is the one I was thinking of, http://www.350z-uk.c...de#entry1343194 Edited November 11, 2016 by Wayne370Z
HRAB
This is the one I was thinking of, http://www.350z-uk.c...de#entry1343194 Thanks Wayne. Some of the details on here are the same as on wiki that I don't think are correct: 2011 Model Year Changes to 370Z: • New tire pressure monitoring system • Revised suspension for UK roads • A rear view camera integrated into the Nissan Premium Connect satellite navigation system • Improved isolation of road noise on the Coupé • Automatic versions of both Coupé and Roadster have a revised 'Snow' setting for enhanced grip when setting off on ice and snow I'm sure some people have these items on their 2010 cars.... Alpinaman
Isn't that the GT edition model, not the GT

HRAB
I've copied across from the other thread below. They have separately listed the GT edition and then the 2011 changes for the Zed.....although both are very similar. These are the same details from Wiki. It would be nice to find the old nissan brochures for each year.....gives the definitive answer to all specs with what was included/optional. 370z GT Edition (£35,000, 1 June 2011 - 2014?) Base Spec + GT Pack and: • "Revised underbody insulation to reduce road noise" • Suspension reworked for UK roads • Connect Premium (High resolution touch screen satnav, iPod connectivity, 9.3GB hard drive) comes with reverse camera as standard • Dark Grey 19" forged RAYS alloy wheels. • GT Edition side decals • Available in 3 colours: Storm White, Ebisu Black and Black Rose ******************************************************************* 2011 Model Year Changes to 370Z: • New tire pressure monitoring system • Revised suspension for UK roads • A rear view camera integrated into the Nissan Premium Connect satellite navigation system • Improved isolation of road noise on the Coupé • Automatic versions of both Coupé and Roadster have a revised 'Snow' setting for enhanced grip when setting off on ice and snow
Alpinaman
I cant think of anything else to add.... All have folding mirrors? I think your best bet would be to get a 2011-2012 GT edition..... That covers 99% of the available i think....
Richf
MY2012 which includes some 2011 models will have the revised oil gallery gaskets and they also have improved oil cooling, not sure exactly what Nissan did but the 2012 on cars don't have anything like the oil temp issues of the earlier models Also mid 2012 the brake hose design changed on the front so the early hoses wont fit
Alpinaman
And you bought a 2010 car in the end HRAB?
HRAB
Indeed I did. I was trying I weigh up the spec difference vs price over the 09/10/11 cars. Ultimately the differences seemed pretty minimal (of the ones I could find out!)
Alpinaman
Yea.. I guess a well specced early GT is much the same..the nav screen and 19" wheels being the big factors imho The oil seal mod would be worth considering on an earlier car
Richf
The oil seal mod would be worth considering on an earlier car The "what" now ?
wez370
The oil seal mod would be worth considering on an earlier car The "what" now ? The older 09/10 engine 370zs had a paper oil gallery gasket that was changed in the newer models of the car. It isn't a death sentence but certainly worth keeping an eye on. Or for peace of mind getting changed to the newer gasket although from what I have read its quite labour intensive.
