Many newer cars come with engine start buttons without the need for a key. You can also buy an engine start button for older cars but need to insert the key first anyway. I'm surprised, with so many modifications carried out on cars, that there's not a mass market for installing engine start buttons that operate in the same way as those that roll out the factory that way.
