As you can probably tell from my other posts asking if anyone would like to join me on roadtrips/xmas gwtaway etc, that since my breakup I'm at a loose end.

After I get the Z back on tbe road I plan to get an enduro bike.

Does anyone fancy getting into green laning with me? Can do a Yamaha offroad weekend with hired bikes then if it's something you enjoy, you can pick up a decent off road bike for 1500 quid.

There's nothing quite like it. I used to have a motocross bike and I'd spend the entire weekend riding the local moorland. Its really rewarding traversing difficult terrain like riding up a rocky stream or over logs.

The bikes are low geared and have about 40-50 horsepower, so they're exhilarating when you open the throttle wide and you get catapulted towards the horizon.

Also it's great if there's a few of you and you can just stop to admire the view and chat or go to a pub on the way back.

The bike's obviously have to be road legal and you'll need to do a direct access course.

There's no racing element to it so you don't have to feel pressure to keep up.

Anyone up for it?

My son used to do this on a ktm 250, he used to have a great time with a decent bunch of various age guys. He joined a local club but alas clubbing of a different variety seems to have taken over recently.
