**Christmas Toy Run 2016**

Sharing an event for all of those who may be interested

 

It's a charity toy run on the 19th November. We will be meeting at the Ace Cafe and then driving to the White Lodge Centre next to St Peter's Hospital in Chertsey to donate toys to the disabled and seriously ill children who attend and stay at the centre. The run has been going for the last 5 years and we've previously supported the John Radcliffe hospital in Oxford, Shooting Star Chase hospice in Guildford as well as the White Lodge Centre.

 

We donate toys for all age ranges to the centre which they then distribute to the children for Christmas, they will accept anything, from baby toys to DVD's, old games etc, so there's always something which can be donated. Once at the centre, we park up and any children who wish can come and look at the cars.

 

The event on facebook is a little confusing as it mentions an evening event, but this isn't necessary for people to attend, it's mostly for the people who take part in the race series run by the same people. The toy run portion of the day will end in the early afternoon I'd imagine.
