Olly350z
Nice progress - let me guess, did the old Japsh*t Y pipe crack? ...mine did Developed a blow at one of the flexi joints not long after fitting which was a shame. The new manifold is 2.5 compared to the 3inch so I hope that doesnt cause any issues... Make sure you get the repeaters put in the right way round one of mine is upside down Noted dude! Will get the bodyshop on the case though so if they mess it up, they can sort it lol.
matt3579
looking good what are you doing with the old indicators leaving them or filling in the holes?
Olly350z
Will be getting the wings smoothed dude so just the Z badges remain. I like smooth lines so having both would upset that
Olly350z
SO updates! Unfortunately still not been able to track down a body shop to get all of the juicy bits fitted which really is starting to grate, but less of that. Ive been hoarding parts as per, and these have included EPRacing 20mm spacers, Z centre caps and aluminium vents. And time for pictures ! Starting with the vents and then for the spacers! Im honestly in love with these, they have made such a huge difference So was nice to have some sunshine today, perfect after a nightshift! Maybe next time I'll have something better to show! Olly350z
I hope fitting goes well haha! Well as of today thats the complete kit here, Nismo N1 bumper 380RS spoiler Chargespeed rear bumper. Im a little nervous about it all going down the bodyshop!
Olly350z
Well crunch time finally happened! It went down to the bodyshop on Tuesday, and after a lengthy chat with the sprayer I've ended up having even more work done Always amazes me how quickly I can spend what I earn! So as far as a run down goes, this is the list of work its having done hopefully ready for incarnation on the 22nd of April, It goes something like this N1 front bumper Chargespeed rear bumper 380rs spoiler Debadged boot Wings with 370 indicators Full front end respray blended into the doors backend respray Wheels refurbished Door handles to match the wheels So this was it being picked up By Rob at RBE LTD motoring and recovery assistance, know Rob personally and his work is spot on and down at the bodyshop The yesterday I popped down to drop a few more bits off and was greeted with this... Then today my phone goes off, and its the sprayer. They've gotten stuck right in... Happy doesn't quite cover it. There we have a chargespeed and 380rs spoiler! The bodyshop have had nothing but praise for these products and how well they've fitted, requiring minimal work to get them on. I should also note that I have USDM crystal clear rear lights to go into the bumper to make it really look fresh. I can't wait for more updates!

Olly350z
Looks great really liking that spoiler. You finishing it of with a wiper delete ? Would look even cleaner I had my old civic de-wipered so it has crossed my mind, but I actually find the Zs rear wiper to be quite practical. Not sure if its the design but I find the rear window gets filthy! I'll more then do it in the future when I track down a set of window lourves though looks good ,looking forward to the finished product Mee too dude! The excitment is mad and theres so much to come! Great progress, showing the Z love!! Hell yeah bud! The love for the Z is firmly lit now so no holding back! Looking forward to seeing at Brighton. I really hope its done on time... Gutted wont even come close
Olly350z
So little update, we have a N1 front bumper! Was dropped down the bodyshop on Tuesday. Looking forward to purchasing the revised preface DRLs from Torqen which will round the front end off nicely! Getting nervous about Incarnation now.... Also decided to smooth the front emblem off, should look tasty! More when I get updates
davey_83
I thought these were Nismo Ver1 and not called N1?
Erni902
I think the Nismo Ver1 is the name of the genuine product and the N1 is the name of the non genuine copy version. At least thats what I glean from what Ive seen online
davey_83
ahhh that makes sense, as when i hear N1 i think.............. http://classicregist...4-gtr-v-spec-n1 Edited April 7, 2017 by davey_83

Olly350z
So where to update! Its been a month of slow going, issues but as some of you will have seen on facebook last night some real progress was made. Gutted that I didn't make Incarnation but it just wasn't quite ready and would've let the standard down! So I'll let the pictures do the talking in the order of how I received them! The first round of paint, or more to the point base coat. Toms did such a good job of smoothing my wings out for the 370z indicators It had a full blow over bar the roof, to keep it looking from 50 shades of grey. Hooray for no more thin Nissan paint! Next up the wheels and door handles came off for there refurb And then the Chargespeed was finished.... And then this is where things took a wee nose dive just before incarnation. Where we had applied more layers of paint we naturally ran low. We ordered some more with the exact same registration and VIN yet it was only after spraying the front bumper and spoiler it became painfully obvious that the paint suppliers had screwed up... This was at 9:45 pm we realised this on the Friday before incarnation  :surrender: But nevermind, we ordered more paint and sent them my fuel cap this time so they couldn't screw up twice. I popped down there yesterday to grab some photos You'll have to excuse the front bumper and spoiler, they're the wrong shade due to the paint suppliers screw up, but it gives a great idea to what she'll look like. It gets picture heavy here! So whats left to do? Well, the spoiler and front bumper are in the booth today so hopefully, they'll come out the right colour this time  We then need to wire up up the 370z indicators so they're protected from the elements. The only thing I'm not happy with is how the rear numberplate lights sit, so I'm going down this afternoon to recess them. Then it needs a dire clean as its filthy from all the workshop dust and being cut back Once the bank balance has recovered it's onto suspension and wheels!
Olly350z
And she's finished and home! Absolutely over the moon with the work PK Autos have carried out and even more pleased with how the back end looks. Wasn't even out half an hour when it attracted a big group outside Tesco's asking about it! Picking it up.... And Home... Difficult to say what my favourite bit is, but I think the refurbished wheel may be it! Next up on the list will either be lowering, wheels, or a remap! Back to the drawing board!
-G-
Looking amazing Olly. I know you love the wheels and they do really suit the car, but I can see a set of LMGT4's truly setting that car apart in the wow-factor department! Maybe have a winter / summer set? Just a thought! Thanks chap. Oh no you're definitely right, these will become a winter set onece I do find new wheels. As much as I do love the OEM rays it definitely needs some new wheels. I absolutely love the LMGT4s and would love a set, would love to test fit a set and see what they look like. Never found a car so difficult to buy wheels for!
