In reality, providing you havent got an underlying issuse the above is what you need to do, making the opening wider will make no difference, it wont increase the flow rate even with channelling, you need to get air onto the rad which is blocked by the bumper face or over the top of the intercooler, no aftermarket bumper increases the height of the opening, just the width, which isnt the issue.

Just try some skyline ducts as you suggest and put some flexible tube pointing at the rad.

Job done for a fraction of the cost of a bumper.

Or even try the std air filter ducts with some hose attached:

What was the issue with mishimoto again

I bought brand new Mishimoto radiator and fan shroud.

Car was overheating from beginning. Numerous time cars was being bleed for air bubbles and blocks. Lifted with front end in the air and with expansion jar mounted on radiator.

It simply didn't work. I was not a single case as even in states there where similar issues.

Went back to OEM radiator and fan shroud and problem was gone.

Only temperature issues I get now are after 4 laps of constant hard driving on track

Yeah that's the plan to go with ducts. Anyway my OEM bumper is damaged plus I have CF airduct on left side which is quite ugle. To repair and spray this bumper will cost half price of new one.

So I will take a new one, most probably this ugly one which is similar to Amuse, make this air guides to IC and rad, buy a pair of Skyline R33 N1 air ducts and go with vented hood.

I think that should improve cooling together with Skunk2 radiator
