rowey200
Folks, My Bose head unit needs replacing! I want to retain the steering wheel controls / sub, what are the popular options? Cheers in advance
evest
Depends what you want - sat nav, cd, ipod, etc. Have a nosey in the ICE section. All steering wheel controls can be retained with the right connections. :-)

DJH
I thought I'd have to change the head unit because the cd was skipping for the first 5-10 mins of driving. I didn't want to cos I like the original look and sound ( & I want to spend £300+ on refurbing my alloys ) So I thought I'd clean the CD lens......it's mounted up-over so thought dirt might be accumulating on the lens. I used a fluid lens cleaner disc several times and hey-presto....no more skipping. Total cost - £4 and 20 mins work. Worth a try for £
