josh2005
Afternoon all! Been looking around for options for intakes as i'm after something to give it a bit more of a roar (had a JWT on my old 350z) and i've come across: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Typhoon-Dual-Cold-Air-Intake-System-FOR-09-15-Nissan-370Z-08-13-Infiniti-G37-/322112649287?hash=item4aff68f847:g:OC8AAOSwxehXPCQT What are people's thoughts? Looks similar to a K&N?
brillomaster
it'll probably not filter as well as a K&N, and the metal used will be cheaper and more likely to tarnish. and something that protects the engine is probably not an area you want to scrimp on. worst thing that could happen is it breaks up on the inside and you start sucking crap straight into the engine. personally if you cant afford a proper system i'd stick with panel filters. Jay Kay
Will probably sound a bit nicer but will suck up lots of hot air from the engine. Will lose power once engine is up to temp
HaydnH
I wish I had something that was "made of performance and show off" on my car! It's guaranteed to increase BHP though, I wonder what the guarantee is?

nub
I’d recommend stock hybrid filters for value for money, but I’m selling a Z1 CAI if you’re interested.
