Carbon bonnets

Hi after advise I'm looking at buying a carbon fibre bonnet for my HR I'm mainly buying for aesthetics over performance. so what's the pros and cons?

Where's the best places to buy?

I know I'll need bonnet pins so what's the best 1s?

Any other advise welcome.

AeroCatch are a quality bonnet pin, however there is a big range of carbon bonnet styles available. 2nd hand ones often come available at greatly discounted prices.

Like most things you get what you pay for avoid the cheap unbranded crap and look for stuff from company's like Seibon

Not really after second hand unless in pristine condition.

And do these generally fit quite well don't won't massive panel gaps everywhere.

I think the pros are limited to satisfying the urge to get a fancy new part for your car

 

I don't think you'll see any performance gain if that's what you're asking.

Just be sure that style fits the HR as the HR has its buldge for a reason
