davey_83
Recently fitted a new battery to the wife's Qashqai *Bosch S5 and was taken back by how much keener the engine starts. Not wanting the 350z to feel left out thought I'd treat her to a Bosch S4, which is the largest unit that'll fit in the battery tray. Existing Platinum 005L was fitted under warranty in Nov 2015 and served it's time well. Think it died once and since I've maintained with a ctek mxs 5.0 with battery conditioner function. Battery specifications: Old - New - Platinum 005L Bosch S4 026 60Ah 70Ah 540 CCA 630 CCA Like a big brothers hand-me-downs, the old 350z battery found a new home with the 92' Sunny. The windows operate so much quicker now 😁 So much space to take a larger unit. davey_83
Checked her over mid week before the MOT and rears were almost to the wear bars, same again please 😁 Home for a through clean front and back ready to go back on. Fresh ticket on ol' girl this morning, sailed though it's MOT. Went to a different place to normal, as priority was for a completely flat test ramp. Had a few 350z in over the years and said this was very tidy throughout 😁 Edited August 19, 2023 by davey_83

davey_83
Quick refurb on my carbon b post trims. For a while now once it had rained they would water spot really bad and dry as pale blue staining. Would go after a polish or being left to completely dry out however it was clear the gel coating was failing. SunTek Ultra to the rescue B post removal x2 pop clips and a guide, door needs to be opened. Faded and unprotected carbon First polish and refining needed PPF template being cut out Wet install Both pieces covered in self healing Ultra. Let these dry out final edge work and refit.
