davey_83
Yes 5w30 for the Motul and the XTR was the only Fuchs container I could find down the entry, used some years back for the wifes Note - but made the picture. That's great numbers, interested to see how you get on with Nanodrive. Edited March 31, 2020 by davey_83
cob1980
Yep, honestly I couldn't tell whether his engine was idling or not it was that quiet over the general road noise nearby.

davey_83
Love that new avatar pal!! Yeah, reads well that stuff as it incorporates PTFE polymers used in their flagship sealant. Wanted try it out last night instead of the paste sealant, but with the wind picking up stopped that bright idea.

davey_83
Cheers pal. Popped into work today and had to pull over for a quick picture, roads were nice and quiet. Been nearly two weeks since driving the ol' girl and didn't want to turn in. Good to blow the cobwebs out and put some heat through her.

davey_83
Another quarantine job dealt with so I can relax for a bit. Wife and daughters went out for the afternoon, so made a swift start on tidying up. Looked online at shelving for ideas and the thought of popping out to stand in a queue for ages didn't sit well. Remembered some off cut fencing we had, so thought why not. Still loads of kit to sort out, but that can be another day.

davey_83
I've previously used Autoglym Interior Shampoo, Vinyl & Rubber care and Autobrite Pink Sheen, so interested to see how I get on with Auto Finesse Total. Seems a bit of a miracle product on Detailing World.
ilogikal1
I'm sure you know this already, but Total is a cleaner akin to AG Interior Cleaner, whilst the other two are (silicone heavy) dressings so not like-for-like comparisons.
coldel
Loving the shelves. I got told by the other half to throw some stuff out, I have a cupboard in the garden, a trunk in the garden, as well as a sideboard in the house all full of stuff I have collated over the years. I think I have about 75 bottles of stuff. I got told yesterday that some of it has to go as she hasn't seen me use more than 15-20 different things this year...she is right, so a load of old AG stuff is first to go and will be binned today
davey_83
Few low lighy pictures from an impromptu drive out to Nottingham recently. The lack of traffic did wonders for the mpg also
da.murf
some mpg. was that mainly motorways? My mpg has risen to approx 30mpg commuting to work etc but that is all main roads etc 30mph
davey_83
That was only for a few miles on a dual carriageway driving with super light throttle.
davey_83
For a good while now I've had a saved search on eBay and the forum for an exhaust system. At the time of buying my 350z it recently had fitted a Toyosport system which I really like, hence keeping for so long. With modifying cars you always want to change bits to make it your own. Orally it's very much a sports sound with OEM looks. With the thought to replace, I didn't want something generic. Weren't tickled by a Cobra, Scorpion, Indivdia, Miltek, Ark etc as good as they all are, I fancied something different. Checking every few days for new sales as you do, when a custom exhaust came up to which I thought wow that looks well made and not what one would normally associate with a poorly made crush bent. It's very much ticked all the boxes, 2 silencers (not resonators) forward flow gas, 3' mandrel with slash cut burnt tips. Took the gamble and made the purchase going of uninstalled pictures alone, not knowing anything with regards to noise, fitment or actual quality. Began the process of cleaning and protecting, later discovering it was built by Thorney Motorsport. Fitment was spot on thankfully and it sounds as good as it looks!!! Old exhaust out...... Quick clean up and rust treated, would have done more but it was in between showers and I was itching for the new shiny one. Before.... After.... New exhaust in Absolutely chuffed with it. HEADPHONES
That looks brand spanking new I would never have thought to grab AF Tripple for the exhaust. How did you find it on stainless steel?
davey_83
Cheers fella, I used Mothers on the piping after wet sanding and AF tripple (great all rounder, even for stainless) for the silencers and tips. It's better than new, as it's protected now.
davey_83
Been out for one quick spin and the exhaust note is glorious. Gives a different driving experience as great sounding system plays such a part. Motordyne ART pipes *heat wrapped Motordyne XYZ with HFC *heat wrapped Thorney Motorsport y pipe back exhaust
