sipar69
Interested to know if anyone on here has put spacers on a Nismo (Mk1)? 15mm all round seems to be a popular mod in the US. I've also toyed with the idea of Swift springs to lower it a bit (again very popular in the US) but I think I'd just try spacers to begin with. If anyone has done this I'd love to see pictures and to know which spacers were used (I believe the Nismo wheels require extended studs). Cheers. roadtrip
I think 15mm might be too much as your rim edge already sits 13mm further out than the standard GT wheels. I'd be more tempted to go for 10mm if anything.
sipar69
Thanks D. I'll do some more research. No rush. Guess I could start with 10 and add if necessary.
roadtrip
Do the Nismo wheels have the cutouts on the rear so you can use 15mm bolt on spacers or are they too shallow like the GT Rays? I noticed these spacers on eBay which could be an cheap way to test them: Eibach 15mm bolt on ProSpacers PCD 5x114.3 CB 66mm Nissan 300zx 350z Eibach 15mm bolt on ProSpacers PCD 5x114.3 CB 66mm Nissan 300zx 350z They're for a 350Z but I expect they'd fit a 370Z although the stud lengths might be a different length or something.
ZMANALEX
15mm will work on the Nismo mk 1 or mk2
sipar69
Thanks for the replies. From reading the US forums I'd assumed the MK1 Nismo wheels require you to also get extended studs. roadtrip
Thanks for the replies. From reading the US forums I'd assumed the MK1 Nismo wheels require you to also get extended studs. That's a shame, more of a tricky job. Edited September 12, 2016 by roadtrip
