jayrishi Posted August 30, 2016 Share Posted August 30, 2016 Ok so I put my original Ray's on the car while the other wheel went for refurb. Collected it yesterday and went to put it back on the car, but one of the lug nut ceased on the car. After going at it for a while I got frustrated and decided to take a drill to it to get it out..not the smartest idea I know! Now there is nothing left of the lug to grip hold onto and can't get it off. samsniss350z Posted August 30, 2016 Share Posted August 30, 2016 As Ekona said you could try a hammering a smaller socket onto whats left, but i reckon you've given it such a battering that you've perhaps taken it a step too far. You could try the socket option (as mentioned above ~ see video below) or possibly try taking it to a garage that can spot weld a bolt or similar onto it so that you can undo it that way (see picture below ~ it is of a bolt rather than nut but same principle). If it's OEM bolts/nuts that you need try zmanalex or Emperor Tuning for used or maybe Clark Motorsport for new. If it's different nuts to fit those aftermarket alloys then have a word with Mitz@the Cougar Store as I'm sure he'll be able to help there.
