Such A Fairlady
My car keeps going into limp mode around corners and sometimes in high revs. Anybody had this problem? Car goes fine apart from when it limps. It recently went in for a knock sensor loom replacement and ive heard before that the throttle body sensor can become loose inside? P2122 P2138 keep coming up. ZMANALEX
Off the top of my head sounds like a TPS issue or a TB issue,

Such A Fairlady
Cheers guys much appreciated! Am i right in thinking the position sensor will reset when i take the neutral off the battery for longer than an hour? Would this reset it or is it more likely a problem with the sensor itself? ZMANALEX
You will more than likely have to replace the TPS.
Such A Fairlady
Oh really? This wouldnt have anything to do with the flap of the throttle body being touched would it? As i took it into a garage and they took the plenum off to do the knock sensor harness as i did the sensor but wasnt just that. I made sure i didnt touch it as in the video i saw said it can ruin it all and had no problems toqued it all etc ran fine none of those problems till after the garage. Is it just me thinking too hard and a Coincidence? Also p1229 sensor power supply short? And after driving it the other day its when i turn right? Cheers, Sam
ZMANALEX
Perhaps, so just carry out the resets.
