Dicky
What precautions do you need to take to remove the seats and steering wheel. Battery disconnection a given. I was going to see if the drivers seat padding can be improved and I've a problem (since new almost) with the left turn indicator not cancelling exactly when it should. I'm worried about the associated air bags and how sensitive they may be during removal. Thanks.
Keyser
They can't be that sensitive, Buster takes em out with a hammer All we ever do is disconnect the battery both terminals and if you want to be extra safe turn the lights on for a few seconds - drains any residue charge - then whip em out
ZeppoJeff
They aren't that sensitive. I recently took my seats out with disconnecting the battery and I had no issues at all. Did the same when removing my steering wheel and all okay. Just let it settle for a bit with the car off before u do any work.

Dicky
Many thanks guys, I hope it's as straight forward as you suggest, cos I don't fancy having my hair style and underwear ruined by having an air bag go off in my face. Oh no no no!!
