cob1980
I have a cat back Nismo exhaust fitted currently but have been considering getting high flow cats to replace the standard ones. I've read that certain HF cats don't work too well with the Nismo (poss Berks?) causing the CEL to come on. Preferably I want something the least raspy. Any tips as to which would be best? Thanks in advance.
Jetpilot
There is a chance any hfc will trigger the cel, I have had berks and cobra and happy with either tbh. Worth noting there is no guarantee hfc will 100% pass an mot.
GMballistic
I did have Berks HFC's on my old 350Z albeit with an Invidia Gemini system & not a Nismo system but I never found it to be raspy imo. One thing though I'd say most likely if you're going to put HFC's on I'd imagine your EML will come on at some point whatever brand you go with. People I know have tried various means & methods but still the only sure fire way is to have the car remapped (UpRev) at some point switching off the EML/secondary O2 sensors for good.
