ZedManTID
Has anyone fitted Carbon Rear Quarters? Link below. http://www.garagewhifbitz.co.uk/seibon-2503.html I'm battling rust and would like some info. No one I've spoken to at any Seibon dealer seems to know if they replace the panel or are just a stick-on skin. They are the cheaper option for a permanent fix and to get my car looking new again but if I'm covering the rust rather than replacing it this option seems a little silly. Thanks in advance for any help Edited August 8, 2016 by ZedManTID

evilscorp
But other people might want to know so always worth sharing your findings but I would presume you cut the old section out and rivet/bond these on?
ZedManTID
Fair enough. I see your point The panels are replacements. Just couldn't get a straight answer when searching as it was 50/50. Perhaps the early parts were overlays? Thankfully Chris at Tarmac confirmed for me. As for fitting, this is still unknown but I do know the original panels are welded so they'll need removing and the carbon panels I guess, like you say, will be riveted in place. As always I'm just going to roll the dice and go for it. I've been quoted about £1200 per side to buy, fit and spray new panels so this has to be the best option. How wrong can it go
ZedManTID
http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/110596-rear-quarter-panels-wanted/#entry1652981 Having just seen the entire panel off in this thread I may have misjudged the work involved...
