reeces555 Posted July 31, 2016 Share Posted July 31, 2016 Having had some new front tyres fitted after spotting bad wear in inner side of both front tyres. Up on the ramps and obvious to see the control arms need replacing..bushes are cracked split and basically coming out, explaining the shocking handling. I have had a look and £130 seems the going rate for both front arms is this about right also how many hours labour should I be looking at paying for the job? OliverB Posted August 17, 2016 Share Posted August 17, 2016 It requires the removal of the front subframe as the bolts are into the chassis, been quoted £200 for the work (didn't give an hourly rate, private mechanic in Bedfordshire).
