Mikey_S Posted February 12, 2021 Share Posted February 12, 2021 Thread revival.... The tops of my locking wheel nuts have disappeared.... On both rears. As per thread, seems the spacer threads are too long for the nut. Front are fine but I'll be changing them for normal nuts. I've not tried to have a go at anything yet so I came here for some advice first as I'm not sure I have the same issue as @Stuggerz Only noticed as MOT guy pointed it out. davey_83 Posted February 12, 2021 Share Posted February 12, 2021 As you say the spacer studs are too long for the locking wheel nuts, so what's left of the broken nut won't have seated on the wheel as it's bottomed out taking the top off.
